WALDEMAR SPRING CLASSIC
Sirje Tammi and Korven Tuutikki
As I meantioned earlier, we are adding trotter type Finnhorses to our breeding program, and will train them as well. We already hired a trainer, Sirje Tammi, who will move to Haukkatunturi with her two Finnhorse mares ,Korven Tuutikki and Korven Jasmiini, pretty soon. Sirje already competed in our colours in Waldemar yesterday, these things are happening fast!
Anna Steffen and Teiturin Lungo
It's hard to believe we're only couple of hours drive away from home, it's a full spring blooming here, while it's still snowing papersheets in our hometown.
Saga Vange and Ilta- Hämy
Unlike most of the horse falls and fails, this actually turned out to be worse than it looked like at first. Saga got both of her ankles broken along with a mild concussion, and has to stay in Waldemar hospital for a while. But she's propably the toughest lady in the world and will recover in no time, just because she has decided to do so. I seriously believe she could control the moon and the stars by the power of her will, if she wanted to...
Keke's playfulness along with my short attention span often leads to this kind of goofing around when we actually should be training. It was lovely to do our small tricks in front of an audience for a chance, I was so proud of how he charmed those little girls.
We've been away from home for a week now, and starting to get used to the lunches at the gas stations and sleeping in the car. Next we're heading to North Karelia for a Halter Show, and after that we'll drive some 9 to 10 hours from there to the home sweet home
