Now, technically (and genetically) white isn't a base colour, but a white pattern covering horse's whole body. If you use this coat and use such horse for breeding, remember two things:
- You must include genotype of a base coat, even though it's not visible.
- White is lethal if homozygous, therefore all white horses are Ww heterozygous. Avoid breeding two white horses.
You can transform it to a near white by adding some speckles or patches of base colour, especially near the topline, as well as mixing in some coloured hairs in mane and tail
