I've recently remembered how much fun I'd had on ES in 2015 and, infused with fresh motivation to be making cool stuff on Sims again, I've attempted a return to the community with a new stable, new horses, and a brand new start.
I have a lot of ideas for my characters and buildings that I'm really excited to turn out, but to be completely honest, I have no idea where to begin with these new sites. I felt excited seeing and reading about this huge ES revamp but, looking into it more, I find myself missing the old ES that I knew -- unless there are parts of this new infrastructure that I am missing!
This is by no means a post to complain about anything, or to act like my opinion should be some game changer; I'm just hoping to clear up some questions I have and figure out how to find what I want out of this new deal.
I personally really enjoyed the structure and officiality of old ES. I understand that the new structure aims to bring freedom to users, but will there be a corner of the updated Equus where people like me who enjoyed all those rules, registrations, spreadsheets, currencies & points, can thrive?
I'm liking the looks of ESRPG but I'm confused about a lot of aspects that I can't quite put into words yet. I'm excited to read into it more.
To sum this up into an answerable query, is there any official structure at all to new ES, or will that all be handled by the players? Are there any plans of official registrations such as breed and discipline registrations? Or official discipline and breed shows? It was such a particularly rewarding system...
Thanks so much to whoever took the time to read this and thanks more to those who may reply! Sorry again if this ends up being barely decipherable!
