PHOENIX HILL || SETTLING IN
(Pictured: Natalia Woodward and RHZ Radisson)
"Hey, you" Natalia scoffed at the black stallion. He was nibbling at the collar of her jumper and his whiskers were tickling her chin. Natalia giggled and gave Razz an affection peck on his muzzle. Alarmed, the stallion threw his head up and backed up. "It's okay," Natalia soothed. Razz had only been at Phoenix Hill for a couple of days now and he was still frightened with being so far from what had always been his home. He was clearly a horse that needed someone with the time and patience for him and Natalia could give him that.
She settled him down by massaging his atlas to help relax the tension in his poll. Once settled she took the lunging whip and gave a gentle click with her tongue. Gracefully, the stallion leapt off of his hind legs and cantered across the arena with his neck arched and tail swishing. She chased the stallion round the arena for a while until he lowered his head, chomped his lips and flicked his inside ear towards her. Natalia dropped the whip, turned her back on him and stood quietly for a few moments. Slowly, Razz crept forward and halted behind her and began to sniff the back of her neck. Her goosebumps rippled and she grinned before reached out and giving him a gentle scratch. They were now joined up.
