Before you think of applying to any of the horses make sure you've read our Terms Of Service.
And make sure you have all necessary CC markings listed there below!
I dont give a form to apply with necessary things I want to see, I want you to get creative! A simple "I am interessted" will most likely be ignored. Make me get interessted in you plans with the horse, show me a bit of you facility or make an interessting storyline on how the horse is supposed to fit into your facility! It will take some time until I am really sure about the new home of a horse, so please be patient and take your time waiting.
A friends request!
Just recently an old (real life) friend of mine has come to me with a request I could'nt decline. She has private reasons to completely stop her love for her sims horses (hasnt done anything with Equus Sims, Instagram or else, just for private fun and pictures) but she wanted her five loveable quarter horses to not go wasted.
She sent me her five horses with all the informations she had left on them and told me I could keep and use them. And they are real beauties but I have full hands with mine and I told her I would sell them here on Equus so she can see them active if she wants. With her agreement I am now putting these five beautiful competition horses up for "sale/adoption". Together with her we will look for the best suitable home. So please be patient that I can take much more time for me to give away a horse as I will send every Application to her and if she has any questions I work as middle voice between you and her to make sure she is satisfied and approves the new home.
My overall terms of service also count for these horses as they went through my hands and I have promised my friend that her horses will be save and sound and definetly active in competitions and scrapbooks on Equus!
Furthermore she want some basic informations, so here are some points you should DEFINELTY include in you application (no strict pattern, as said above, make it interessting but include the things she really wants to know to reduce the many questions back)
You should include:
future use of the horse,
changeing riders or one fixed rider,
surroundings (how will the life be, pasture time, stall time, riding and feeding, etc.)
competition career planned?
FOR EVERY HORSE!
If you ever consider selling the horse I WILL take the horse back! If you ever consider the horse to go into retirement and you do not have the space to hold it anymore in its advanced years I WILL take the horse back and give it into retirement on OCS! If you ever think about stopping you equus-sims life in this forum I WILL take the horse back, as I promised my friend the horse will be ACTIVE HERE and nowhere else.
Yes I know, these are some harsh rules, but she is one of my first ever sims 3 horse ranch friends and her horse bloodlines still live in a few of my horses. We have done many things together and I want her to be able to trust me and every new owner of her horses. If ANYTHING goes wrong with a future Owner, I will contact the owner aswell as my friend and if she decides I sould take the horse back I will do so, so please watch out for these five nice gems!
MC Missy Pride
20 y/o sorrel AQH mare
Missy is an old but reliable mare. Trained in Western Pleasure she has smooth and very much loved gaits. Even though she could be considered a schoolmaster Missy is not a horse for starters. She has her bitchy and stubborn moments and works out only for at least a bit more experienced riders, not under the age of 14 years. Missy had a life on pastures and if you keep her in stalls she WILL need a paddock that she always can access! Else you can easiely keep her 24/7 pasture time. She has been a broodmare the last 5 years and will need a quickstart to work as lesson horse again, no more competition future as her age doesnt allow it.
MC Gentle Miss Penny
17 y/o dark chestnut AQH mare
Half sister of MC Missy Pride this slightly younger mare can also be considered schoolmaster. She has a calm caracter and definetly beginner friendly. Trained and lined in Western Pleasure and Trail she wont be for any use in faster disciplines. Because of previouse infections Penny is now infertile, her uterus was completely removed to prevent any more infections and ensure her a healthy life. Just as her halfsister Missy she was living 24/7 pasture time. She WILL need a stall with always reachable paddock space. Lesson horse future recommendet, can still go some competitions but wont have another big career.
3 y/o bay AQH mare
Jeanny is a young and unbroken mare. She is a flashy and impatient soul that needs a fixed rider with a strong hand to keep her working. Jeanny can be really stubborn and really bitchy, doesnt go easy with other mares but works fine with geldings. She was bought as a future competition horse but due to the facts that my friend now stoppes sims she gives Jeanny away. She has a Trail and Western Pleasure lineage and most likely will be pretty good in these but considering her temper and energetic character she should also be working in Reining to get her a good workout. No stall with paddocks, she tends to break out and run away!
Damn It Carl
18 y/o fleabitten (palomino) gelding
Carl has been her previouse competition gelding just before Little Flame displaced him. He is a calm but stubborn guy with a cuddle caracter. He is still worked out so could go some more competitions in Trail and Halter (as all the other horses, no fast disciplines, my friend was a Trail based barn). You could also rework him to become a lesson horse if needed, his caracter would be great and his age could consider him to slowly go into something more laziness. I cabnnot tell if he would be beginnger friendly because of his competition trained nature curently but its up to you to test that out.
9 y/o flaxen chestnut AH gelding
Flame has been her current competition horse. He is trained and based in Western Pleasure and Reining. He is a fast and smooth guy with some nice gaits and well behaved. Flame was gelded a bit to late so he still has some stallion character, so please watch out close to mares and other stallions. He is definetly nothing for beginners as he is a fast responding and easily hot headed guy with great temper, but I would consider him a great competition type of horse you will definetly have fun and success with in both disciplines. My friend is unsure if he has cowsense, so you might also check that out to get him into Cattle work.
If you are interessted in any of these horses please contact me with all necessary informations here per direct message. It will take a while for me to answer you as I am in contact with my friend about future homes for the horses, but be sure I will contact you back if yes or no, as long as you havent gotten any answer your application is considered pending until my friend and I are sure about the desicion! Thank you for your patience! <3
