I guess this is kind of a rant. But, it's also kind of a cry for help too. I'm not sure I'm the only one who's experienced this - I doubt it, but I can't find anything online.
So, what happened?
I signed into Origin in hopes to play over the long weekend. I launch Sims 3. To my surprise Sims 3 Pets as well as Sims 3 Seasons aren't in my game. So, I check my launcher expansions. Surely enough, neither of them can be found in my game. So, I check the Origin Library. It seems as though Origin "took back" Sims 3 Seasons. The client (and website) is telling me I have to buy it over again for $19.99! As for pets? It's simply not working. Both were installed on my computer and played a day or two prior.
I go to EA/Origin help. I explain my issue and the typical chat goes on. I send her my redemption code. Obviously my issue surpasses their experience, so they are handing me off to "specialists" and I am told I will receive an email soon. No email. I decided to give the benefit of doubt and wait until the next day. This morning, I wake up and check my email. Nothing. So, I message an EA advisor once again. I told this [different] advisor my issue and they escalate my claim to "High Priority" and tell me it looks like I'm going to be getting my email from the specialists soon. That was nearly 12 hours ago. I am desparate. I can't afford to buy these over again!
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm even fine playing with just Pets and taking the L for Seasons, but a remedy for both would be amazing!
