Yearling power ... or trouble
What can I say? I recently tried to unite the kittens. At first everything looked very good. The twins have well received Cas and Whiskey. The girls get along great and Smiley always keeps an eye on the girls. Unlike expected, Smiley has the say in the small group. Why I never thought that? Smiley was such a shy and reserved foal. And now he is so strong and courageous. Take care of everyone and make trouble. At least that's what it was like in the beginning. Because Whiskey may have been cautious and yet curious at first, but now he was always looking for a fight with Smiley. Even the young mares he chased away, if he wanted their place for themselves. But he liked to annoy Smiley. The yearling has to endure a lot, because Whiskey is constantly breaking out or trying to bite him. At first I thought it was just the two. But Whiskey seeks with all the quarrels, especially with the Leaders. He tests them out and looks how far he can go. So far, it has not yet degenerated. Nevertheless, I'm worried. What if Smiley loses patience and Whiskey shows where his place is? That can sometimes end badly. In any case, I will keep an eye on the yearling gang.
