Kincain's StudbookThe air is chilly as you step into the large stone building. You hear nickers and huffs coming from each stall as you pass by. There is a groom sweeping the aisles and you ask them for directions to the main office. She points you down towards the hall connecting the two wings of the spacious barn. You make your way down the hall, dim from the old weathered wood yet bright from the windows lining the wall, running your fingers across the grooves in the wood. Finally on your left you spy the door to the office slightly ajar. Out of politeness you knock and a voice, gentle and smooth, responds for you to come in. The office is ornately furnished yet feels so homely and comfortable. The owner of the voice is at her desk, nose buried in a large leatherbound book on the desk. You figure she must be the stud owner and the book the stable's studbook. She looks up to greet you with weary but kind eyes motioning towards her.
"Ah. You must be looking for this. Come take a look."
