Here is my entry - it isn't nearly as creative as the rest of you, but I'm not really a big fantasy-fan. But I've never had big fluffy horses in my game before, and it was a lot of fun!

My name is Aluni, and this is my story of Primeira. I first encountered the breed when I was a headstrong sixteen year old, thoroughly bored with island life. We'd moved to Saint Greaer Island a few months previously; my parents joined the local settlement and we lived off the land.
During a passing across Lily Island, through the thick woodland there he was. Magnificent and tall, with feathered legs and noble eyes full of curiosity. I felt tiny stood there in his sight, but he never approached me. He soon faded into the trees, and moments later I found him stood beside another beautiful horse. A rich bay mare, with a glossy coat and strong legs.
After that first sighting, I spent most of my days touring the Island, trying to find him again. I spoke to the cheifs who we lived with but nobody knew anything about how the horses had come to live on the island. I was told about a jet black stallion who ruled the herd, and was known for charging at people. He believed them to be a threat to his herd, but it was almost a year later before I finally saw him for myself.
I sat down in the grass, as I did every time I met Shy Boy. He had started to come closer; his soft breath would tickle my face as he smelled my hair. But the black stallion, known as Admiral, he came trotting close by, his head snaked down. His teeth got awfully close to my arm! But with a swift snort from Shy Boy, he disappeared past the lighthouse. Shy Boy remained close by with the mare I always believed to be his partner. She was a sweet mare, but not as stocky or feathered as him. Like the rest of them, she had no white markings. I believe white markings of any kind are extremely rare in the Primeira.
As fall came closer, I would sneak some of the settlement's crops into my pockets, to ensure Shy Boy got enough food. He would let me touch him by now, just a quick pet on the neck or scratching behind his ears. He loved carrots, they were his favourite. Admiral would never join him, but sometimes the bay mare would hang in the distance, so I would leave carrots on the ground for her to pick up.
When winter came, I helped build an old building on the outskirts of Lily Island, an open shelter for the noble horses we loved. Straw was purchased from another settlement for the horses to sleep on, and Shy Boy was the first horse to step inside. The bay mare came that night and I got close enough to admire her beauty. She was definitely a slender type compared to Shy Boy, but she was still beautiful. It took Admiral another few weeks and snow up to his hocks before he came to the shelter. I believe that was the moment he knew we would never harm him, or his family. He stopped trying to keep them away from us from that point, but I knew better than to approach him the way I did with Shy Boy and his mare friend.
After winter faded into the horizon, spring blossomed and our crops were thriving again. I found work, so I had less time to stalk the island looking for the herd again. I caught glimpses of them here and there, but it was almost another two years before I saw the group properly. Another horse was with them this time. I'd never seen her before, but after watching her interact with Shy Boy and the bay mare, I suspect them to be her parents.
And guess what. She has a tiny white strip on her front leg. She's the only one with white markings; and I believe that makes her even more special. She inherited Shy Boy's timid nature, and wouldn't come close enough for me to get a good picture of her, but she inherited the mare's conformation mostly. She doesn't have any feathers on her legs, but you can definitely see how thicket her conformation is.

- Known only as Primerira, translated to mean "the first."
- Only known colours are bay and black. I personally suspect that I've seen a chestnut horse roaming freely around the island
- I've yet to see a grey Primerira
- White markings of any kind are extremely rare
- The Primerira is very noble and elegant; despite their huge size they move with grace. They are a thoroughly wild animal, but don't fear the humans they see around the island. Our daily offerings of vegatables and harvested hay seems to please them; they all gather at the same spot where we lay the food. Even Admiral can be seen waiting for the fresh food each sunrise.
- Each horse is unique in conformation; although it has been noted down through the generations that only the stallions grow feathers on their legs. The mares always seem to have a more slender body, although they are always more hesitant to get closer to the humans.
- The life span of the Primerira is not known, although it seems to be in the same range of humans.
It was over fifty years ago that I first met Shy Boy and his family. Its been many years since I last saw him, but I don't believe him to be gone. Maybe he's on a rarer part of the island, or maybe he's created his own herd away from Admiral. I still lay carrots down every morning in the same spot, and I'm always greeted by the young mare I suspect is Shy Boy's daughter.
Over the years she's allowed me close enough to stroke her head; and she enjoys the same scratches behind her ears as her sire does. Seeing her every day keeps Shy Boy in my heart.
I'm sure one day we will be reunited.
